Dry Transfers

Dry transfers (also known as dry transfer decals) can be used to securely mark any non-textile surface, and offer an equivalent alternative to direct screen printing. A fine layer of ink is deposited and fixed using an adhesive. The ink is then protected with a layer of varnish.

The image is applied onto the chosen surface backing side up before being burnished on the material backing using a burnishing tool or round-edged blade.
