In late March 2018, the AGENT M agency contacted OXY SIGNALETIQUE for the creation of indoor and outdoor signage at the Fondation Carmignac in Porquerolles (island in south-east France).
With the opening planned just three months later, OXY teams had to take into account all sorts of technical data and production, logistics and installation constraints to meet the required turnaround time and make this beautiful museum project a success.
The Fondation is based on a protected site so outdoor signage had to be discreet. Signs were installed on very narrow posts, with thin plaques. Given the site constraints and the need to be able to change sign information, they had to be installed without concrete mounts, using endless screws fixed in the ground.
Indoors, all wall markings were created using letter stickers. This technique was complicated by the size of the texts to be transferred onto the walls and the requirement to comply with the agency’s colour chart.
OXY was delighted to be a part of this beautiful museum project. It was a pleasure for us to work beside Botticelli’s “Madonna of the Pomegranate”, and the Fondation Carmignac can now present its treasures to the public with successful signage!
