Loxam, the French leader in construction equipment rental, has chosen Oxy to make its NFC labels to optimise tracking.
Loxam is capitalising on recent technological advancements to put increasingly sophisticated information on board its equipment and deploy a monitoring and diagnostics system across its entire fleet.
The project’s success relies a lot on the quality of the NFC label.
Considering the equipment usage conditions, Loxam set out numerous and precise specifications for the NFC labels, including adhesive durability, impact resistance, intensive use, hostile environments, bad weather, abrasion resistance, etc.
Oxy engineers had to carry out multiple tests to select the NFC sticker quality that meets these complex technical specifications. The operation was a success as Oxy’s work is now in place on around 100,000 Loxam pieces of equipment in France and Europe.
