Monday 20 to Sunday 26 November is European Week for the Employment of People with Disabilities. Oxysign welcomes, supports and encourages you to take part in this initiative, which brings together companies, politicians, associations, civil society and jobseekers.
Employing people with disabilities is not just about being an inclusive company that knows how to adapt to each person’s abilities. It is a sign that all differences have their place in society. By choosing to go beyond the employment obligation set by law (6% of the workforce), Oxsyign shares the idea that disability in the workplace, rather than being a legal constraint, is a source of meaning and human enrichment for our teams.
For several months now, every day we have been welcoming people from La Gauthière, an Etablissement et service d’aide par le travail (Esat) based in Aubagne, and from ARI (Esat Le Grand Linche in Aubagne, Esat Arc-en-ciel in Carnoux).
Supervised by four of our employees, who are volunteer referents, these people carefully carry out cutting, weeding and shipping tasks.
We share a little of this wonderful story with you in the following video…
